Home Brewed Boocha'

The health benefits of drinking kombucha are endless, but have you tried ditching the expensive ones at Whole Foods for your own? It’s super easy. •gallon of purified water •black tea or green tea •one cup of REAL sugar •a little tiny bit of vinegar (my secret to combat mold growing on the SCOBY) •a healthy SCOBY sample like above •a little bit of kombucha liquid (store-bought works fine) •glass gallon jug •cloth to cover the top (light enough to let air permeate the jar) Boil 10 bags of tea of choice with purified water. Wait until the tea is completely cooled. Fill the glass jar with cooled tea. Add a cup of sugar, kombucha liquid, and a tablespoon of vinegar. Mix, mix, mix! Add your SCOBY. Cover jar with a cloth and secure with an elastic or rubber band. Let sit for at least 7 days at room temp, out of direct sunlight. Enjoy after 7 days, or adjust to your liking (I leave out for at least two weeks). Enjoy!

Meals at Home - Wild Caught Salmon and Cauliflower Gnocchi (Gluten-Free)

Cauliflower Gnocchi in Vegan Bolognese sauce and Wild-Caught Salmon marinated in soy sauce, honey, and chili oil.

Definitely a denser dinner than what I’m used to, but so comforting. I never use honey anymore, but ran out of liquid stevia and had to improvise. Everything was from Trader Joe’s beside the Salmon, I got it fresh from the seafood counter at Whole Foods. Oddly enough, I can’t really go back to buying frozen salmon.
