Home Brewed Boocha'

The health benefits of drinking kombucha are endless, but have you tried ditching the expensive ones at Whole Foods for your own? It’s super easy. •gallon of purified water •black tea or green tea •one cup of REAL sugar •a little tiny bit of vinegar (my secret to combat mold growing on the SCOBY) •a healthy SCOBY sample like above •a little bit of kombucha liquid (store-bought works fine) •glass gallon jug •cloth to cover the top (light enough to let air permeate the jar) Boil 10 bags of tea of choice with purified water. Wait until the tea is completely cooled. Fill the glass jar with cooled tea. Add a cup of sugar, kombucha liquid, and a tablespoon of vinegar. Mix, mix, mix! Add your SCOBY. Cover jar with a cloth and secure with an elastic or rubber band. Let sit for at least 7 days at room temp, out of direct sunlight. Enjoy after 7 days, or adjust to your liking (I leave out for at least two weeks). Enjoy!

Peach's Picks - April Edition

Product Spotlight: Nubian Heritage

Goats milk is known to have ingredients that soothe even the most easily irritated skin types. I suffer from eczema in the winter and summer months and try to find products with fewer chemicals and more natural ingredients. Came across this black-owned brand at the Vitamin Shoppe, and fell in love with the smell of these products.
